Minis to Me
A Mobile Therapeutic Program
Minis to Me is a mobile mini horse assisted therapeutic program that helps children and adults with special needs.
It is designed to reach the community in need and have transportation challenges.
Miniature horses are a great option to build trust and befriend when large horses are intimidating especially to a small child or fragile senior. All our Minis have a “loving and lovable” temperament.
Most importantly, those who are not mobile, have severe physical challenges and are not able to ride a horse can participate and receive the many benefits from the program.
Even those in wheelchairs or bedridden can interact with the Minis.
About the Minis to Me Sessions
A preplanned activity will be executed followed by a post activity group discussion around that activity. The sessions will be custom designed for the specific group. They are designed with specific outcomes. Each session will focus on a subject such as teamwork, character development, social skills, among other benefits.
