Field Trips
There is nothing like seeing the delight on kids or seniors faces when a pigmy goat is sitting on their lap, when they are petting a miniature horse or riding on a hayride. At Alegria Ranch we delight in providing an intimate petting zoo experience for all kinds of events. Come picnic and play with the menagerie of animals.
Overnight Summer Camps
Our “Summer Camp” program is designed to gain self-confidence, perseverance, teamwork, to accept differences and reach personal growth. We focus on acknowledging and reinforcing positive attitudes.
Our campers will have the opportunity to gain life skills and be reunited to nature. We reinforce the strengths of each of our campers and encourage positive attitudes and efforts. We celebrate the personal improvements of our campers in the different activities of the camp experience; from interpersonal relationships and friendship, to trying new things and overcoming fears.
Filming
The versatility of the property allows you to film many different environments from the traditional ranch setting, pastures or deep forests. There are 2 houses on the property a traditional ranch style and a large country home with a huge stone fireplace. The animals are available for rental and can be easily transported to a different location if needed.
Scouts
Need to earn farm related badges, we've got that covered! We have programs where scouts earn badges for farm mechanics, horsemanship, disability and animal science.
